an ode to 2:31lost betwixt cobbles of facetious depths
awakened bygones lost in passioned seas
i lie here, my light, ancient as the dawn
waiting on true sunbeams to awaken
a mist, a tide, a shadowed heaven's night
as a chilled wind sweeps from my evening
i lie here so that others may arise
fellowed, enlightened, by a common dream
a reverie lain under wretched gloom
a darkened sky over a thoughtless moon
a last hope buried in an umbra sea
a wish for me and for you to realize
i lie here, my light, waiting for the dawn
World on Fire - pilot - MLP Friendship is MagicIt was an ordinary day for Celestia. She had woken up at a usual time about seven, she believed to begin the day. She needed to be awake before her sister in order to prepare breakfast. Luna was always grumpy without breakfast. Luna accepted breakfast without question when she finally awoke at about nine, and then went off to play in the other room. She didn't have many toys, but she did have the paper dolls that Celestia had made for her about two years ago.
After feeding Luna, Celestia took a quick bath in the washroom and returned to the main room, searching the bookshelves for something to read. She had, of course, read all of the books in her collection many times over, but it wasn't like she had much else to do. At twelve, she went in to the other room to continue Luna's lessons.
"So you see, as the price of a good increases, the demand for a good that can substituted for it will increase as well. And then demand for the first good will " Celestia looked over a
Ricochet C2: The St. AnneThe cool ocean air felt good on Aiden's face, and the smell of smelt pervaded the air. He leaned over the railing a bit, making a small sigh. It was a really nice boat.
He looked down at the water and saw a small school of Tentacool pass by. Tentacool were very common back in Hoenn; apparently, they were common all throughout the country. There were a few Pokemon that he didn't recognize, such as a small and round blue...thing. It had a long white tail and a swirl on its belly, too. His Pokedex was able to correctly identify it as a Poliwag. From its presence, it was easy to tell that the St. Anne was nearing Vermillion City.
Absol was lying by his side, looking totally content. That was the only Pokemon Aiden currently had with him; Gardevoir was back in the room - probably sleeping and Blaziken was in the gym, located below decks. His team seemed to be enjoying themselves. Really, the entire trip so far had been basically perfect...
...or not. Next to him, a young wo
Ricochet C1: The Hoenn League"It was always going to end this way," she said in her monotone. "There was simply no other outcome. Even through the complications, through the war and violence...this was always going to be the result."
As she walked forward, she picked a black and white ball from her belt.
"But you knew all of this. You knew that it was just going to be the two of us in the end. How long did you know? How long did you let the antics ensue, the players scramble when the climax was inevitable?!" She said the last words with sudden fury, throwing the orb onto the glass-like floor in a flash of light. A shadow appeared behind her and spread its wings.
"I didn't find out until later," he replied. "There were...complications. If I had known anyone would be hurt but myself, I wouldn't have let it happen. Especially...especially not you."
He threw a ball of his own at the ground; after a flash, a pillar of light and flame appeared, its feathery wings spread wide.
"This is my burden. I'll only ask
The Last DJAs long as I can remember, there has always been the Glorious Government. I'm not sure how it came to be. They rule over us with an iron fist, and try to control our thoughts. They use lies and propaganda to further their goals. Many people are not even aware that their lives are not their own.
But in this dystopian society there is a beacon of light; a bringer of hope. A man who is actively sought by the Glorious Government. He gives us exactly what we need to carry on with our bleak and meaningless lives. He gives us the belief that things will get better. That he is actively fighting against tyranny. The string of murders within the Glorious Government have proved this. His words are courageous; his thoughts uplifting. Many would gladly die in order to further his cause.
He is known as the Last DJ. And I had to meet him, to help in any way I could to bring down our oppressors. I had already fought back in small ways; messing with paperwork, mostly, to make communication more difficu
Manifest - Part IIIn a void of swirling colors, a series of lights flash down from above. Voices are heard from these columns of light. One of them sounds like a young female.
"Don't worry. You'll do fine."
The voice breaks Zuriel from his trance. He looks around himself, and sees the beautiful swirl around him. He moves his hand closer to one of the columns, and his body moves closer as well.
"You were given a gift. You can use it for the greater good."
Zuriel looks down at his hands. He cannot face the light. He does not feel the weight on his back. He knows what it will say next, as he makes every effort to not hear the next words.
"I'll always be fine, because you'll be there for me."
And Zuriel blacks out.
Zuriel awoke in a place that was completely unfamiliar. It looked like he was in a standard, modern house; but something about it was archaic as well. It looked like it was made of wood.
As he sat up he realized t
